The MG RV8 was a revival of the original MG B bodyshell in the early 1990s in response to modern roadsters proving the popularity of the old sports car formula. Sold only in the UK and Japan, the RV8 used a fuel-injected version of the 3.9-liter Rover V8 (itself originally a Buick unit, having also been fitted to a small number of MG B GTs in the early 1970s) producing 190 horsepower.
